As though to make us wonder and doubt... Then, as quickly, the day turned sunny and warm.
It was as though we were asked to slow down for a minute and take stock in what we have and what means the most to us. Two small children, friends of my own children, and their mother bid farewell to their father and husband today.
It caused me to pause and reflect of those things for which I have immense reason to be grateful and, with their loss, I was given the gift of remembrance of just how fragile life is.
